Your career data should work for you.

We collect account details such as your name and email, along with the school, graduation timing, career interests, GPA range, experience, goals, and progress you choose to provide.

We also store activity needed to run your plan, including missions, applications, contacts, preparation progress, notification preferences, and subscription status. Basic product analytics may record actions such as completing onboarding or opening a feature.

When you ask CareerRank to draft or review mission work, the relevant profile, mission instructions, and text you submit are sent to our configured AI inference provider to produce the requested response. Do not include private information that is not needed for career guidance.

When you submit a resume for analysis, CareerRank processes its text to create feedback. The original uploaded file is not intentionally retained after processing.

We use your information to create and update your career plan, match opportunities, save progress, provide reminders, secure your account, support billing, improve the product, and communicate service-related information.

CareerRank relies on service providers to operate the product, including Vercel for hosting and AI inference, Neon for account and database services, Stripe for payments and subscription management, and Resend when email reminders are enabled. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.

Stripe processes payment details. CareerRank does not directly receive or store your full card number. We receive billing identifiers, subscription status, plan information, and related transaction records needed to provide Pro access.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help run CareerRank, when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer.

We keep account and career-plan information while your account is active and as reasonably needed for legal, security, and operational purposes. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

You can update career information and reminder preferences in the app. You can permanently delete your account from Profile > Account & support; CareerRank removes the associated plan data and closes any linked Stripe customer before deletion completes. You may also request access or correction by emailing privacy@careerrank.app. Some records may be retained where required for fraud prevention, billing, or legal compliance.

CareerRank is not intended for children under 13. We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date or an in-product notice.
